Are transaction fees the same for credit and debit cards?
Usually, these fees are calculated differently and may also differ depending on whether it is an Amex, Diners, JCB, MasterCard or Visa card.
For a majority of merchants, credit card transactions are charged as a percentage of the value of the transaction and debit cards are charged as a set fee per transaction.
